Overview

The University of Sydney invites applications for two full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate positions within the Faculty of Engineering. Working jointly across the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, the successful candidates will contribute to an Australian Research Council-funded project focused on carbon-neutral energy demand forecasting. The role involves developing precinct-scale modelling platforms, conducting scenario-based analyses for Australia's energy transition, and collaborating closely with industry partners such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Applicants are expected to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish findings in leading journals, and help shape infrastructure planning for a sustainable future.
