Overview

The University of Exeter is offering a PhD studentship as part of the GW4 BioMed3 MRC Doctoral Landscape Programme. This research project addresses the critical challenge of using phage therapy to treat infections involving multiple bacterial species simultaneously. The successful candidate will investigate the risks of pathogen replacement and develop innovative strategies to optimise antimicrobial treatments. This position is ideal for a researcher interested in the intersection of microbiology, ecology, and therapeutic development. The project aims to unlock the potential of phage therapy as a robust alternative to traditional antibiotics.
