Overview

The Atom Quantum Processing group at ETH Zurich's Department of Physics invites applications for a doctoral position focused on neutral-atom quantum computing. The successful candidate will help establish a new laboratory dedicated to laser cooling, trapping, and imaging rubidium-85 atoms within optical lattices. Responsibilities include assembling ultra-high vacuum systems, integrating experimental control hardware, and exploring novel collisional quantum processing schemes. Candidates are expected to hold a relevant master's degree and demonstrate a strong drive to construct a quantum computer from the ground up.
