Overview

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is offering a PhD position within the PEZELCO2-MHC project, which focuses on the development of next-generation catalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction. The research aims to create hybrid architectures combining perovskite oxides and zeolite-type materials to improve activity, selectivity, and durability in flow-cell conditions. The successful candidate will investigate electronic tunability, defect engineering, and microporous confinement to address current challenges such as high overpotentials and competing hydrogen evolution. This role is ideal for a motivated researcher looking to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy technologies.
