Doctoral Researcher in AI Systems
Investigate reliable and explainable multi-agent LLM systems for regulated energy operations.
Best for:Best for computer science graduates with strong Python and C++ skills and an interest in large language models and multi-agent systems.
Overview
The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a 36-month doctoral research position within the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). Working alongside the UBIX Research Group, the doctoral candidate will investigate how artificial intelligence agents can be designed to operate reliably, explainably, and governably in regulated industrial settings. The project involves a close collaboration with a major energy utility to build, evaluate, and open-source multi-agent prototypes where decisions carry significant operational consequences. Candidates are expected to conduct rigorous research, publish scientific findings, and actively collaborate with both academic and industry partners.
