Post-Doctoral Associate in the Center for Brain & Health
Investigate the neural correlates of mental processing speed using multimodal neuroimaging at NYU Abu Dhabi.
Best for:Best for neuroimaging researchers with a PhD in cognitive neuroscience or psychology and strong MRI/EEG data processing skills.
Overview
The Perception and Active Cognition laboratory within the Center for Brain & Health at New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate. The appointed researcher will spearhead an innovative project examining the neural mechanisms underlying mental processing speed, integrating functional and structural MRI with simultaneously acquired fMRI and EEG measurements. This research connects processing speed measures to healthy aging and various clinical conditions, offering a comprehensive view of brain health outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate within a vibrant multidisciplinary team of scientists and students, utilizing advanced neuroimaging and behavioral techniques. Applicants are expected to drive project execution, analyze complex neuroimaging datasets, and contribute actively to the academic community.
