Overview

The CaixaResearch Institute, a newly established immunology research hub in Barcelona, Spain, invites outstanding predoctoral researchers to apply for Formación de Profesorado Universitario (FPU) 2026 fellowships. This programme supports early-stage researchers in completing a 4-year doctoral project under the supervision of leading immunologists. The institute focuses on immune system processes, their role in health and disease, and the development of advanced technologies to decode immune responses. FPU fellows will engage in original research across diverse immunology subfields, including clonal haematopoiesis, immune ageing, maternal immunity, vaccine responses, and glyco-immunology, while gaining advanced skills and contributing to scientific progress.
