PhD in Mechanics of Tumor Cell Trogocytosis by Macrophages
Explore the mechanical interactions between tumor cells and macrophages to uncover novel cancer biology mechanisms.
Best for:Best for motivated candidates with a Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related fields, interested in cancer biology and cellular immunology.
Overview
This PhD position at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (IPBS) in Toulouse, France, focuses on investigating the mechanics of tumor cell trogocytosis by macrophages. The project is part of the BEST Doctoral Programme at the University of Toulouse and combines molecular, cellular, and in vivo experimental approaches. The successful candidate will work under the joint supervision of Dr. Renaud Poincloux at IPBS and Dr. Spencer Freeman at the University of Toronto, Canada. The research aims to advance understanding of cancer biology, immunology, and inflammation through cutting-edge methodologies.
