What you'll do

  • Investigate how specific antiphospholipid antibodies drive inflammation at the maternal-fetal interface and cause placental dysfunction.
  • Perform advanced flow cytometry and immune cell phenotyping on clinical samples.
  • Execute cell culture and functional immunology assays to evaluate immune pathways.
  • Isolate and characterize immune complexes and conduct ELISA and biomarker discovery.
  • Utilize multiplex tissue imaging and spatial biology techniques such as Cell-DIVE.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians, scientists, and patient partners to analyze well-characterised patient cohorts.
