Adjunct Specialist, College Readiness and Success

New York University Abu Dhabi seeks an Adjunct Specialist to oversee all academic and instructional duties for the College Readiness and Success course within its Summer Academy program. The role involves teaching two student cohorts across a five-week summer session, managing lesson planning and grading, and providing extensive feedback for student recommendation letters. The appointee will also support co-curricular activities, lead student excursions, and conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions. Candidates must hold an advanced degree in a relevant discipline and possess authorization to work in the UAE.

• Deliver instruction for the College Readiness and Success course across two separate student sections.
• Implement the established curriculum preparing students for global higher education admissions and university-level success.
• Provide regular oral and written feedback to students and submit detailed written evaluations for recommendation letters.
• Supervise and participate in co-curricular events, evening activities, and day trips.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with students to track academic goals, university interests, and career plans.
