Overview

The Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and the Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging are seeking a PhD candidate to join an NWO-funded Vici project. This research focuses on mapping the complex, folded architecture of the human cerebellar cortex using postmortem brain tissue as a ground truth for in-vivo imaging. The successful applicant will employ advanced techniques including Ultra-High Field 7T MRI, tissue staining, and quantitative data analysis. You will work within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment alongside cognitive and clinical neuroscientists. The position offers extensive opportunities for professional development through academic courses and international conferences.
