Overview

The Erasmus Mundus International Master's in Soils and Global Change (IMSOGLO) delivers a comprehensive international educational experience centered on how global changes impact soil functions and health. Jointly offered by Aarhus University, Ghent University, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, and the University of Göttingen, the curriculum integrates specialized research expertise from across Europe. Students examine pressing environmental challenges such as intensive land use, population pressure, and climate change, which threaten natural soil regeneration, biomass production, and water purification. The programme prepares graduates to tackle critical global environmental issues through rigorous scientific training and multi-institutional collaboration.
