Overview
Lingnan University is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to join the Faculty of Business. The successful candidate will engage in independent and collaborative research while teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This role is based within the Office of the Faculty of Business and the Hong Kong Institute of Business Studies. Applicants are expected to contribute to the university's research profile by securing competitive grants and producing high-quality scholarly output.
What you'll do
- Conduct independent and collaborative research projects.
- Teach multiple subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Prepare and submit applications for RGC and other competitive research grants.
- Undertake administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Contribute to the academic community and the mission of the Faculty of Business.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in management science, operations research, or a relevant field.
Language: English and Chinese (including Mandarin); high proficiency required.
Instruction: English and Chinese
Publications: Strong track record evidenced by quality research output in line with international standards.
- Strong track record of high-quality research output.
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent command of Chinese, including Mandarin.
- Ability to secure competitive research funding.
- Must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification obtained no more than five years prior to the appointment start date.
