What you'll do

Develop AI and network data science algorithms for mining molecular multi-omics and medical data to enhance precision medicine tasks.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team to advance state-of-the-art methodologies in AI-driven therapeutic discovery.
Work on flagship projects such as the Human Phenotype Project and Emirati Genome Project to analyze large-scale genomic and medical datasets.
Conduct research to improve predictive models for precision therapeutics and medical diagnostics.
Engage in knowledge transfer and collaboration with industry and government partners to translate research into practical applications.
Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals within the fields of AI, bioinformatics, and precision medicine.

Requirements

Degree required: PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field

Language: English; proficiency required for communication and collaboration

Instruction: English

Publications: Record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals in bioinformatics, AI, or related fields

Required skills

Expertise in data science, bioinformatics, network science, AI, machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, genomics, or related areas
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Strong background in algorithms, data analysis, graph/network theory, and complexity theory
Experience with scientific computing, statistics, and parallel computing environments
