Overview

The Weavers Group at the University of Bristol is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a Wellcome Trust-funded programme. The research focuses on uncovering the dynamic cell biology that supports tissue function, homeostasis, and repair, with a particular interest in how dysregulation contributes to ageing and disease. The successful candidate will employ a multidisciplinary approach, combining in vivo studies in Drosophila with advanced live-imaging, genetics, and spatial omics. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on mammalian tissue and human organ transplantation projects while shaping independent research directions. The position is initially fixed for three years, with potential for extension.
