Overview
This position involves conducting research on the intersection of psychiatry and cardiology, specifically targeting individuals with psychosis who are at increased risk for cardiovascular diseases. The researcher will lead the planning and execution of an implementation study, collaborate with a postdoctoral researcher and a project group, and disseminate findings through scientific publications. The goal is to enhance understanding of risk factors and improve healthcare for vulnerable populations. The role is based at Amsterdam UMC, a leading institution in medical sciences.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of the implementation study.
- Write scientific articles on risk factors and predictive models using existing data.
- Collaborate with a postdoc and a motivated project group from various regions.
- Share knowledge through scientific and non-scientific channels both nationally and internationally.
Requirements
Degree required: Master's degree in Medicine and (almost) BIG-registered as a physician
Degree offered: PhD
Language: Dutch and English; proficiency in both required
Instruction: Dutch and English
Publications: Publication of scientific articles is expected
- Strong interest in lifestyle psychiatry and cardiology
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Must hold a Master's degree in Medicine
- Must be (almost) BIG-registered as a physician
