Overview

This four-year PhD studentship at the University of East Anglia investigates the intersection between cellular stress responses, extracellular matrix dynamics, and healthy ageing. Working within the Norwich Research Park Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership, the successful candidate will use Caenorhabditis elegans models alongside advanced molecular and imaging techniques. The project aims to uncover how proteostasis pathways affect extracellular matrix structure and healthspan. Applicants will receive comprehensive training in multidisciplinary biological sciences and benefit from active engagement in scientific communication and research networks.
