Overview

The French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food, and Environment (INRAE) is seeking a Flux Analysis Engineer to join the MetaboHUB infrastructure at the Bordeaux Metabolome Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating isotope-labeling data into calculation software to model metabolic fluxes in compartmentalized plant systems, such as tomato fruit cells. Additionally, the role involves characterizing plant 13C-labelled standards for LC-MS and GC-MS analyses using advanced processing tools. This temporary position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled consortium supporting cutting-edge research in plant metabolism and biotechnology. The appointee will work closely with research teams to generate flux maps, develop analytical strategies, and help disseminate findings through scientific publications.
