Overview

This doctoral position at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) focuses on investigating how climate-related environmental exposures and health system failures influence demographic inequalities. The project, titled *Preventable Harm*, aims to understand the impacts on health, mortality, fertility, migration, and population dynamics, with a specific emphasis on health care access, quality, and preparedness. The researcher will develop independent research questions within this framework, primarily using quantitative methods and combining demographic, administrative, or survey data with climate and environmental exposure data. The position is based at the Center for Demographic Research (DEMO) and offers a collaborative, international research environment in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
