What you'll do

- Conducting scholarly research in product or graphic design, with a focus on sustainability, functionality, and innovation
- Participating in university service activities, including committee work and administrative responsibilities
- Mentoring undergraduate students and contributing to the academic and professional development of the design program
- Collaborating with industry partners to integrate real-world design challenges into the curriculum
- Presenting research findings at conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals or design publications
- Overseeing and contributing to the design program’s strategic planning and development
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Design, Fine Arts (MFA), or a related field, or a Master’s degree in Design or Fine Arts with substantial professional experience
Language: English; fluency required for teaching and research
Instruction: English and Chinese
