Overview

The Neurotechnology Group at ETH Zurich is seeking motivated PhD students to join a flagship project focused on clinical translation of non-invasive brain drug delivery. The research involves developing focused ultrasound technologies, closed-loop control algorithms, and ultrasound-responsive therapeutic carriers. Successful candidates will work in an interdisciplinary environment to advance this platform from proof-of-concept to preclinical validation in animal models. The role requires a blend of engineering, neuroscience, and translational research skills to prepare for future clinical applications. Students will be enrolled in the D-ITET department and the Neuroscience Center Zurich PhD program.
