The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) is seeking a motivated PhD candidate to join the Vascular Neurology Research Group. The project investigates the glymphatic system, focusing on how fluid transport networks influence the clearance of metabolic waste and neurotoxic proteins in the brain. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Dr. Natalie Beschorner and Prof. Dr. Gabor Petzold. The role involves a mix of experimental design, in vivo mouse model studies, and advanced data analysis to better understand the mechanisms of age-related neurodegeneration.
