Research Fellow in Computational Structural Biology
Join a leading research group to advance computational structural biology through molecular dynamics and integrative modeling.
Best for:Best for computational biologists or biophysicists with strong expertise in molecular dynamics and integrative structural modeling.
Overview
The University of Birmingham is seeking a Research Fellow to join the Computational Structural Biology group led by Prof. Teresa Carlomagno. The successful candidate will employ advanced computational techniques to investigate the structural and functional mechanisms of proteins, nucleic acids, and their complexes. This role involves integrating computational models with experimental data from sources such as NMR, X-ray crystallography, and cryo-electron microscopy. The appointee will be expected to develop novel methodologies and contribute to the group's research objectives at atomic resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a researcher to work in a multidisciplinary environment focused on biomolecular dynamics and recognition.
