Overview
The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is seeking faculty members to join its Computing and Mathematical Sciences Division. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education for the Master in Applied Artificial Intelligence program, specifically tailored for mid-to-senior level professionals. Successful candidates will integrate academic rigor with practical industry applications, supervise student research projects, and foster strong ties with industry partners. What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality courses for the Master in Applied Artificial Intelligence program.
- Develop and refine curriculum to ensure academic rigor and industry relevance.
- Supervise student industry-focused research projects.
- Liaise with industry partners to identify and secure innovative project opportunities.
- Source and coordinate guest lecturers and industry experts for the program.
- Represent the university and division on internal and external committees.
- Maintain active knowledge of scientific and industry developments in AI.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field; candidates with an MS and significant industry/teaching experience will also be considered.
Language: English (professional proficiency required).

- Proven ability to apply advanced AI technologies to solve real-world business challenges.
- Strong background in conducting impactful research.
- Experience or interest in mentoring graduate-level students.
- Must hold at least an MS degree in a relevant field, with a PhD preferred.
