Materials Science and Simulation Master of Science
An interdisciplinary Master's programme bridging materials science, physics, and advanced numerical simulation methods.
Best for:Best for graduates in materials science, physics, or engineering seeking advanced training in computational materials modeling and simulation.
Overview
The Master of Science in Materials Science and Simulation at Ruhr-Universität Bochum provides students with comprehensive knowledge in materials physics, chemistry, and numerical modeling. Run in coordination with ICAMS partners, the four-semester curriculum equips students to apply experimental and computational methods across various length and time scales. Participants engage in fundamental and advanced modules, practical research projects, and complete a Master's thesis supported by academic mentors. The programme prepares graduates for successful careers in both industrial research and academic environments.
