PhD and MSc Positions in AI-Driven Drug Discovery for Muscle Disease
Join an international research team at the Technion to develop novel therapeutic strategies for skeletal muscle disorders using AI and experimental biology.
Best for:Best for students with a strong background in biology or computational sciences interested in the intersection of AI and drug discovery.
Overview
The Faculty of Biology at the Technion Institute of Technology is seeking motivated MSc and PhD students to investigate new therapeutic approaches for skeletal muscle disorders. This research project integrates AI-guided drug discovery with experimental biology, utilizing patient-derived muscle cells and preclinical disease models to identify and validate candidate compounds. As part of an international European consortium, the work spans multiple disciplines including muscle biology, stem-cell models, molecular imaging, and in vivo physiology. Successful candidates will be expected to take ownership of their research and evolve into independent scientists within a collaborative, high-impact environment.
