Overview

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is seeking a PhD candidate to join the DualSec-IBD project, which focuses on advancing cell-free therapies for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The research aims to create modular secretomes from mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) that can simultaneously address immune dysregulation and epithelial damage. The successful candidate will work on characterizing these secretomes and developing novel oral and parenteral delivery systems. This role involves evaluating therapeutic efficacy in experimental IBD models to promote intestinal mucosal regeneration.
