Overview
VinUniversity is seeking a dedicated faculty member to join the College of Engineering and Computer Science, with an affiliation to the Center for AI Research (CAIR). This full-time position involves leading high-impact research, delivering high-quality curricula, and contributing to university service. Successful candidates will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and support the university's strategic goals in technological and scientific advancement. The role is open to candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, depending on experience and scholarly record.
What you'll do
- Lead high-impact research projects with translational outcomes and secure competitive external funding.
- Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, accredited curricula for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Supervise research students and mentor junior faculty members.
- Contribute to university service through committee work, program development, and faculty recruitment.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within the College and across research centers.
- Engage in innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer activities.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
Language: English (proficiency required for teaching and research).
Instruction: English
Publications: Sustained record of high-impact publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated teaching ability and commitment to student-centered learning.
- Strong record of scholarly achievement through peer-reviewed publications.
- Ability to develop an independent, externally funded research program.
- Experience in multinational, multicultural, or start-up environments.
- Must hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree from a prestigious university.
