Overview

The Research Fellow position in the Nelson group at the University of Warwick focuses on exploring conserved gene regulatory programmes that influence the development of the nervous system and pancreas. Funded by a BBSRC standard research grant, this role involves collaboration with various research groups to conduct imaging analysis and single-cell multiomics data analysis. The successful candidate will lead experimental genetics projects utilizing human pluripotent stem cell-derived organoids and zebrafish, employing techniques such as CRISPR-mediated genome editing. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in vertebrate developmental biology and experimental molecular biology.
