Overview

University College London invites applications for a Research Fellow position within the Multiscale X-ray Imaging Lab at the Research Complex at Harwell. The successful candidate will lead the adaptation of the Blown Additive Manufacturing Process Replicator to apply non-Gaussian beam shaping and ultrasound to directed energy deposition. Working alongside synchrotron facilities, the researcher will investigate solidification microstructures and melt pool dynamics. Responsibilities include experimental campaigns, large dataset analysis, student mentoring, and scholarly publishing. This role offers an opportunity to drive cutting-edge manufacturing physics research in a collaborative environment.
