Overview

This PhD position at the University of the Basque Country investigates innovative photocatalytic approaches using light-responsive boron compounds. The selected researcher will design and synthesize molecular systems whose electronic states and reactivity can be modulated via photochemical stimuli. The work integrates molecular design, photophysical characterization, and mechanistic studies to enable selective catalytic transformations. Ultimately, the research aims to demonstrate the utility of these systems in advanced polymer synthesis and chemical recycling.
