Overview

This PhD position at the University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) focuses on advancing AI systems in high-stakes operational settings. The successful candidate will investigate how multi-agent systems can be designed to ensure trustworthy behaviour, coordination, and explainability in environments where errors carry financial and regulatory consequences. The work combines theoretical research, system development, and empirical evaluation in collaboration with industry partners. The project is led by Prof. Raphaël Frank’s UBIX Research Group and offers a multidisciplinary environment with strong ties to Luxembourg’s energy sector.
