Overview

The Transfers-Fluids-Materials in Aeronautical and Space Applications (TFM-ASA) is a joint international Master’s programme offered by Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany), Université de Bordeaux (France), and Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). This interdisciplinary programme focuses on advanced studies in aerodynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, turbulence, propulsion, combustion, turbomachinery, and materials science, with direct relevance to aircraft, spacecraft, and drone technologies. Students benefit from a structured mobility scheme, spending one semester at each partner university and conducting their Master’s thesis at one of the institutions. The programme emphasizes collaboration between academic research centres and industry, fostering innovation in aerospace engineering.
