12 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Candidate Positions in ANA-KIN Doctoral Network
Join a pan-European doctoral network pioneering kinase regulatory interfaces through chemical biology, structural biology, and computational approaches.
Best for:Best for recent MSc graduates in chemistry, biology, or computational sciences seeking a fully funded, interdisciplinary PhD with international mobility and industry collaboration.
Overview
The ANA-KIN Doctoral Network, funded by Horizon Europe’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, is recruiting 12 early-stage researchers to advance innovative research at the intersection of chemical biology, structural biology, drug discovery, and computational biology. Successful candidates will work within a collaborative network of leading European universities and industry partners, engaging in interdisciplinary projects that target kinase regulatory interfaces beyond the ATP site. The role includes participation in international secondments, scientific workshops, and transferable-skills training across Europe. Doctoral candidates will contribute to cutting-edge research while developing expertise in their chosen specialization, with start dates ranging from December 2026 to April 2027.
What you'll do
- Conduct original research in chemical biology, structural biology, or computational biology under the supervision of a network partner.
- Participate in international secondments at academic or industry partners within the ANA-KIN network.
- Attend and present at scientific workshops, training events, and networking activities across Europe.
- Develop and validate novel methodologies to study kinase regulatory interfaces beyond the ATP site.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate experimental and computational approaches.
- Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to the development of transferable skills through dedicated training programs.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and data management practices in research activities.
