Predoctoral Researcher in Electron Transport and Quantum Phenomena in Photosynthetic Chains
Join the Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches Group at IBEC to explore quantum phenomena in photosynthetic chains using advanced electrochemistry and computational methods.
Best for:Best for chemistry graduates with a background in applied or physical chemistry, eager to explore nanoscale interactions and quantum phenomena in biological systems.
Overview
This predoctoral position at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) offers the opportunity to investigate electron transport and quantum phenomena in photosynthetic chains. The successful candidate will conduct experiments in electrochemistry, electrochemical tunneling microscopy, and spectroscopy, while also performing structure-based computer simulations to interpret results. The project is part of the *Generación de Conocimiento* initiative, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The role is ideal for chemistry graduates with a strong interest in nanoscale techniques and interdisciplinary research.
