Overview

The Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for a PhD fellowship focusing on Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS). Funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation as part of a larger project on net-negative greenhouse gas emissions, the researcher will explore ecosphere-technosphere interactions and temporal-spatial carbon dynamics. The successful candidate will conduct independent research, publish in high-impact journals, and engage in teaching and dissemination activities. Candidates may apply through either a regular 3-year PhD scheme or an integrated 5-year MSc-PhD scheme depending on their prior qualifications.
