Overview

The International PhD Programme (IPP) Mainz invites applications for a fully funded PhD position at the Institute of Molecular Biology in the research group of Eva Wolf. The successful candidate will focus on 3D structural and molecular mechanistic analyses of PERIOD protein complexes using in vitro biochemistry, structural biology, and biophysical methods. The work involves investigating how PER1 and associated complexes impact the primary and secondary feedback loops of the circadian clock. Applicants are expected to hold a relevant master's degree and bring a strong background in protein biochemistry and structural analysis.
