Professorship in Predicting Molecular Determinants of Health-Disease Transitions
Lead interdisciplinary research in immunology, systems medicine, and disease interception at Charité Berlin.
Best for:Best for established immunologists and biomedical researchers with expertise in single-cell omics, AI-driven health analytics, and translational disease interception.
Overview
Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin invites applications for a fixed-term W2 professorship focused on predicting and identifying molecular determinants of health-disease transitions within the Cluster of Excellence ImmunoPreCept. The successful candidate will drive an innovative research program investigating tissue-immune networks, chronic inflammatory conditions, and early disease interception using state-of-the-art single-cell, spatial, and AI-driven technologies. Responsibilities include building collaborative networks across Berlin's premier research institutions, teaching, and securing external funding. Candidates are expected to possess an outstanding academic track record in immunology or biomedical research along with a completed doctoral degree and postdoctoral qualifications.
