Overview

The CEA-Leti laboratory at Université Paris-Saclay is offering a PhD position focused on the development of a dedicated preclinical Single Photon Emission Tomography (SPECT) imager. This project aims to enhance diagnostic precision for radiopharmaceutical research by leveraging Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) semiconductor technology. The successful candidate will participate in the full lifecycle of the imager, from architectural specification and Monte-Carlo simulations to prototype manufacturing and experimental validation. The work involves collaboration with clinical and preclinical centers to test the system's imaging capabilities on phantoms and animal models.
