Overview

Roskilde University offers a two-year Master's programme in Global and Development Studies that integrates economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, and law. The curriculum addresses how global society is increasingly interconnected across economic, political, cultural, and environmental dimensions, rendering traditional North-South development concepts insufficient. Students acquire analytical tools to investigate and report on complex international issues such as international security, rights, climate change, and green transitions. Graduates are prepared for careers in regional, national, and international authorities, ministries, embassies, aid organisations, and civil society.
