The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) invites applications for its JAE Programme, which aims to train the next generation of researchers through four-year predoctoral contracts. The programme is divided into two tracks: JAE-PRE, covering all scientific fields, and JAE-MED, which focuses on biomedical and clinical research co-supervised by hospital staff. What you'll do
- Conduct original research tasks within a defined PhD thesis project.
- Work under the guidance of an assigned Principal Investigator.
- Collaborate with clinical co-supervisors for JAE-MED positions.
- Adhere to an individualized training plan throughout the four-year contract.
- Complete and submit annual progress reports as required by the PhD programme.
Requirements
Degree required: Master's degree or equivalent qualifying for official PhD studies.
Degree offered: PhD
Language: English proficiency is recommended and positively valued.

- Admission or ongoing process of admission to a PhD programme.
- Ability to conduct independent research within a team environment.
