Overview

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is seeking a motivated PhD student to join the research group 'Adaptive Glycan Remodeling in Cancer Progression' at the DKTK partner site in Berlin. The project focuses on understanding how residual tumor cells persist after therapy and eventually reactivate to cause lethal recurrence. The successful candidate will utilize molecular biology, functional genomics, and advanced cancer models to identify therapeutic strategies targeting glycan-mediated signaling. This position is part of the DKFZ International PhD Program, offering a collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities at both DKFZ and Charité Berlin.
