Overview

The **Mechanics of Sustainable Materials and Structures (MS²)** is a unique triple master’s programme delivered jointly by TU Dortmund University (Germany), the University of Trento (Italy), and École Centrale de Nantes (France). This research-oriented curriculum spans four semesters, with students rotating through each university’s campus to study advanced mechanics, innovative materials, and sustainable structural design. Graduates earn three degrees simultaneously and are prepared for careers in academia or industry, with a strong emphasis on PhD-level research. The programme leverages Erasmus Mundus funding and requires high mobility, as students complete coursework and thesis work across three countries. It is ideal for civil engineering graduates seeking interdisciplinary training in cutting-edge materials science and structural sustainability.
