Overview

Imperial College London is seeking a Research Associate to join the QuantERA project FALCON, focusing on optimal quantum control. The successful candidate will design noise-resilient driving schemes for trapped-ion entangling gates, working closely with experimental partners in Innsbruck and theory partners in Sofia. The role involves applying both analytical and numerical methods to improve gate fidelities under practical, non-ideal conditions. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of academic research and quantum technology within a supportive, inclusive environment.
