Three Predoctoral Contracts in Astrophysics at IAC
Three PhD fellowships available in astrophysics focusing on galaxy evolution, black hole growth, and the AMS experiment.
Best for:Best for master's graduates in physics or astronomy with a strong background in astrophysics and computational or observational data analysis.
Overview
The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) invites applications for three predoctoral contracts in astrophysics based in Tenerife, Spain. Successful candidates will join specialized research projects covering gamma-ray observations of active galactic nuclei, multiphase feedback in nearby quasars, and foundation models for galaxy evolution using advanced survey data. Appointees will conduct rigorous scientific research within a dedicated research group, ultimately leading to the completion of a doctoral degree. The working environment offers comprehensive scientific and technical training designed to foster academic and technological innovation.
