Overview

This three-year postdoctoral position at University College London (UCL) focuses on studying galaxy formation and evolution in the early universe, specifically within the first billion years after the Big Bang. The successful candidate will work under Dr. Guido Roberts-Borsani’s supervision within the OMEGA project, funded by an ERC Starting Grant. The role involves high-impact research on the interstellar medium, stellar properties, and black hole dynamics in high-redshift galaxies using JWST spectroscopy. Beyond core research, the postdoc will develop independent research ideas, contribute to international collaborations, and support PhD students in related themes. The position is based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
