Overview

This PhD position focuses on the innovative study of plasmonic liquid crystals using gold and silver nanorods. The research aims to explore the self-organization of colloidal materials to create artificial materials with unique properties. The candidate will investigate the mechanisms of morphogenesis, develop multi-responsive liquid crystals, and establish predictive links between nanoscale interactions and macroscopic phase behavior. This project is hosted by the Laboratory of Solid Physics, affiliated with the University of Paris-Saclay and CNRS.
