What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and graduate students using interactive, technology-enhanced approaches.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and support early career academics through mentoring.
- Conduct high-quality, industry-enhanced research and manage successful research grants and consultancy contracts.
- Create and manage research partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and external organizations.
- Support innovative cross-disciplinary research aligned with the Entrepreneur College research themes.
- Provide administrative service to the School, the University, and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD degree in supply chain management, operation management, business analytics, information system management, management science, or equivalent professional practice.
Language: English; ability to work, teach, and research in English.
Instruction: English
Publications: Maintain a sustained record of publications in leading journals and impact-measured research outputs.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative approaches to supply chain or operations management research
- Commitment to innovative teaching and problem-based learning models
- Clear understanding of Syntegrative Education philosophy and practice
- Ability to work, teach, and conduct research in English
- Strong teamwork and collaborative spirit
- Candidates over 65 may not be eligible for a work visa in P.R. China
- Non-Chinese applicants require two years of full-time, same-subject teaching experience in a college or university per Chinese work permit policy
