Overview

Oslo Metropolitan University is seeking a PhD candidate to join the Department of Computer Science as part of the Norwegian Quantum Software Centre (NorQSoft) and the OsloMet Quantum Hub. The research will focus on analogue quantum computing, specifically exploring time-continuous approaches like adiabatic quantum computing and quantum annealing for solving complex optimization problems. The candidate will investigate the impact of noise and decoherence on these systems and compare them with digital implementations such as QAOA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with researchers from Simula Research Laboratory and other NorQSoft partners.
