Overview

The Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge is seeking a Post-doctoral Research Associate to conduct fundamental research in physical biology. Working within the group of Dr. Francois Nedelec, the appointed researcher will focus on modeling cytoskeleton mechanics and mitotic spindle formation as part of the ERC Synergy project BioMecaNet. The role involves developing physically accurate computer simulations that integrate filament mechanics and cellular chemistry. In addition to core research duties, the candidate will write up findings for publication, assist with student project supervision, and engage in outreach activities.
